You will arrive at the Seronera Airstrip around 11:00 AM, where your safari guide will warmly welcome you and provide an overview of your adventure. Enjoy a picnic lunch before setting off on an exciting game drive, searching for Serengeti’s big cats and diverse wildlife. As the sun sets, you’ll head to Matawi Serengeti Camp or a similar lodge (subject to availability) for a delightful dinner and an overnight stay.

You’ll start the day with a sunrise game drive in the Serengeti, a prime time to witness predators in action and take in the golden hues of the savannah. After a late breakfast, you’ll journey to Ngorongoro, with the drive itself offering incredible wildlife sightings, including the Big Five and vast herds of wildebeest. Along the way, you can visit a traditional Maasai boma, where you’ll experience Maasai dances, explore an authentic village, and browse local markets for unique souvenirs.

After breakfast, you’ll head to Ngorongoro Crater, often called the Eighth Wonder of the World. Your first glimpse of this vast, green caldera comes from a breathtaking panoramic viewpoint. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is home to diverse wildlife, including the Big Five and over 120 mammal species. It’s one of the best places to spot the endangered black rhinoceros grazing on open grasslands and large hippo pods lounging in the water. From your open-top vehicle, you’ll have incredible opportunities to observe and photograph Africa’s iconic wildlife, from lions, leopards, and cheetahs to wildebeests, zebras, antelopes, and Cape buffalos. After a picnic lunch by the famous hippo pool, you’ll return to Arusha airport and catch your flight back to Zanzibar.
