How it works
Lodges come with the safari
You don't book a lodge on its own with us. You choose a safari, and the lodges come with it, along with your guide, the Land Cruiser and the park fees. Like a place here? We'll put it into your trip.

Not sure which to pick?

Good to know
Questions about lodges and camps
Can I choose a different lodge for my safari?
Yes. Every itinerary says “or similar” because we can swap any property for another one in the same area. Tell us which one you'd like and we'll send the new price.
Why are there no prices per night?
We sell complete safaris, not rooms. The lodge is one part of the price, with the vehicle, guide and park fees. Each property page shows our safaris that stay there and their prices per person.
Inside the park or outside: does it matter?
Inside the park you start game drives at sunrise, without a drive to the gate. Outside the park is usually cheaper and sometimes warmer. We'll tell you which makes sense for your trip.
What if the lodge is full on my dates?
We tell you before you pay anything, and suggest the closest match in the same area and price range.
I'm travelling alone. Do I pay more?
Lodges charge a single supplement for a room to yourself. We include it in your quote, or can arrange a shared room on joining safaris.
Can children stay?
Most of these properties welcome families. A few camps set a minimum age. We check for your dates and children's ages when you ask.

Found a place you like?
Tell us which lodge or camp, your dates and who's travelling. We'll send a safari built around it, with the full price.
