Why we use it
A lodge on the crater rim, looking down onto the floor you'll be driving the next morning.
The lodge is built along the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. On a clear evening you watch the light leave the crater floor, 600 metres below, where you’ll be on game drive the next day.
It’s cold up here at night, so bring a warm layer for dinner. The road down into the crater is a short drive away, so you can be on the floor early, before most vehicles arrive.

Can I stay an extra night?
Yes. An extra night gives you a full day of game drives without packing up. We'll add the night, the extra park day and the meals to your quote.
What happens if it's full on my dates?
We tell you before you pay anything, and suggest the closest match in the same area and price range.
Is it suitable for children?
Tell us your children's ages and we'll check the property's rules for your dates. Some camps set a minimum age.
How do I pay?
Nothing is paid until you're happy with the quote. Then a deposit holds the safari: 20% for camping safaris, 40% for lodge safaris.
