   Embark on a captivating journey with a day trip to Lake Manyara National Park. Located in Tanzania's northern circuit, this enchanting park offers a diverse range of experiences within its compact size. Explore lush forests, open grasslands, and the shimmering expanse of Lake Manyara itself

   1. Early morningPick-up in Arusha and a scenic drive to Lake Manyara, past farms and villages.
   2. At the gatePark entry and a briefing from your guide on the day, the rules and what makes Manyara different.
   3. Game driveFrom groundwater forest to open lake shore: elephants, zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, warthogs, baboons and blue monkeys. Manyara's lions are known for climbing trees, though sightings are never guaranteed.
   4. BirdsMore than 400 species, including fish eagles, lilac-breasted rollers and, when the water is right, flamingos on the lake.
   5. LunchPicnic lunch near a waterhole or a viewpoint over the lake and the Rift Valley wall.
   6. AfternoonFinal game drive, then the drive back to Arusha.
