After breakfast, journey through the scenic highlands toward the Central Serengeti, arriving by midday on its vast plains. As Tanzania’s largest national park, the Serengeti boasts diverse landscapes, from open grasslands and savannahs to dense bush, swamps, and shimmering lakes. Scattered kopjes dot the plains, often home to predators on the lookout. The park is world-famous for the great migration, where massive herds of wildebeests and zebras move in search of greener pastures. Spend an exhilarating day exploring the Mara region, where wildlife thrives in abundance. The iconic Mara River flows through this area, offering an incredible chance to witness the dramatic river crossings of the great migration. While nature follows no schedule, with luck, you may see vast herds braving the river's current as they move north and return south days later. This picturesque landscape, reminiscent of Kenya’s Masai Mara, features kopjes, woodlands, and sweeping plains teeming with life.
