After breakfast, you will drive to Serengeti, which takes 6 hours (including all stops) and transits through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will have a 20-minute stopover at the gate and the viewpoint of the Ngorongoro Crater to take in the crater's breathtaking view. You will visit a Masai village. Visiting and exploring the culture of the great Masai community is optional. The Masai are known for chasing lions of their kill and hunting lions to be considered warriors, drinking raw animal blood. Though these traditions are a thing of the past except for drinking blood, you can surely learn something. This is an optional visit that is not included in the price. Upon arrival in the late afternoon, embark on a thrilling game drive in Seronera, the heart of the Serengeti. This adventure will continue until sunset, allowing you to witness the breathtaking sunset in the Serengeti. Keep your eyes peeled, as you might be lucky enough to witness a predator in action.

Questions about this safari

Is this a shared or private safari?

Shared: you travel with other guests in a pop-up-roof Land Cruiser, which keeps the price down. Your own party can be up to 7 people. The departure runs once at least 6 travellers have booked. Ask us if you'd prefer it private.

When can it start, and can we change it?

It can start on any day that suits you, and we can change the lodges, the order of the parks or the number of nights.

Can children come?

Yes, from age 4. Children under 13 pay less.

Can I book it on my own?

Yes. Solo travellers are welcome; a single room costs a little more.

Are airport transfers included?

We can arrange them for a small extra cost. Tell us your flight times.

What is the difference between joining and private?

On a joining safari you share the vehicle and guide with other travellers on a set date, which brings the price down. On a budget private safari the vehicle is yours and you choose the date.

Are park fees included?

Yes. Park entrance fees and taxes are included in every price on this page.
