We will pick you up from your hotel, and after you get acquainted with your guide and chef. You'll embark on a two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its diverse landscape. The park is famous for its ancient baobab trees and holds the largest concentration of elephants in the country, offering unique opportunities to observe elephant family interactions. You'll enjoy a game drive through the park, focusing on areas where wildlife sightings have been reported. While herbivores like giraffes, wildebeest, and zebras are plentiful, the real thrill lies in spotting elusive predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards. Later, you'll head to the Tarangire River picnic site, where you can savor lunch with a stunning view of the river and nearby wildlife. Playful monkeys and baboons may try to steal a bite, but there's no need to worry.

The Serengeti is vast, spanning 14,750 square kilometers (5,700 square miles), and is renowned for the spectacular migration of over 1.5 million wildebeest and 250,000 zebras, which form a crucial survival partnership. Our focus will be on the Seronera region, located in the heart of the Serengeti. You'll arrive in the late afternoon. After lunch, you will embark on a game drive through Seronera, exploring the area until evening. As the sun sets over the Serengeti, you'll witness the breathtaking scenery with wildlife in close view. You might even catch a predator in action, either hunting or feeding on a recent kill. Afterward, you’ll return to the Seronera campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

The Ngorongoro Crater is renowned as Tanzania's premier wildlife park, celebrated for its stunning crater landscape and the ease of spotting wildlife. After an early breakfast, you'll head to the Ngorongoro viewpoint to take in the breathtaking and surreal panorama of the crater. From there, you'll descend into the crater in search of the elusive black rhinos. Although spotting rhinos can be challenging, the crater's floor generally offers excellent visibility for other wildlife. The Ngorongoro Crater stands out as the crown jewel of Tanzania’s parks, with its picturesque scenery and abundant wildlife. The unique ecosystem within the crater is self-sustaining, so animals remain within its boundaries without migrating out. After lunch, you'll embark on a game drive within the crater before ascending and heading back to your hotel in Arusha.

Materuni, home to the Chagga community, is an authentic village located just 15 km from Moshi Town and serves as the gateway to Kilimanjaro National Park. In the morning, our English-speaking guide will pick you up and drive you to Materuni Village. There, you'll marvel at the stunning waterfalls, which cascade over 80 meters high. The pool at the base is perfect for a refreshing swim, so be sure to bring your swimwear! In addition to exploring the natural beauty, you'll learn about coffee cultivation, drying, roasting, and processing. You’ll also have the opportunity to assist with grinding the coffee. After your visit, you’ll be driven back to Arusha or the airport.

Questions about this safari

Is this a shared or private safari?

When can it start, and can we change it?

It can start on any day that suits you, but the route itself is fixed.

Can children come?

Yes, from age 3. Children under 13 pay less.

Can I book it on my own?

Yes. Solo travellers are welcome; a single room costs a little more.

Are airport transfers included?

We can arrange them for a small extra cost. Tell us your flight times.

What is the difference between joining and private?
